The problem

Small businesses do not need another complicated enterprise system.

They need simple tools that work every day. SaleFlex is not another payment POS. SaleFlex helps you manage orders, products, stock, kitchen flow, daily sales, customer loyalty, and owner reports.

  • Cashiers need a fast POS.
  • Kitchens need clear order flow.
  • Store managers need stock control.
  • Business owners need live reports.
  • Multi-store businesses need one central view.
  • Teams need a system that can keep working when the internet is unstable.

SaleFlex Cloud brings these pieces together.

The solution

One cloud membership. Multiple business tools.

SaleFlex Cloud is built around SaleFlex.GATE, the central hub of the SaleFlex ecosystem. It connects your stores, POS terminals, kitchen displays, mobile apps and back-office tools in one place.

You can run a simple cloud setup, or combine cloud with SaleFlex.OFFICE for local store coordination when you need extra reliability.

Cloud control for your business

Manage stores, terminals, users, reports and integrations from one cloud account.

Best for

  • Single-store businesses
  • Multi-store retailers
  • Restaurants and cafes
  • Retail chains
  • Service businesses
  • Local implementation partners

Kitchen orders without the paper chaos

Send orders from POS to the kitchen screen. Keep preparation flow clear, reduce missed orders, and help your staff work faster during busy hours.

Works with

  • SaleFlex Cloud
  • SaleFlex.OFFICE

Your business in your pocket

Owners and managers can check daily sales, payments, closures, top products, stock alerts, and store performance from their phone.

Perfect for business owners who cannot stay at the store all day.

Stock counting with a phone camera

Use mobile devices for stock counting, warehouse checks, barcode scanning, stock movement and inventory adjustments.

No expensive hardware required to start. Mobile stock workflows are planned for gradual release during early access.

Local back-office for stores that need extra reliability

SaleFlex.OFFICE helps stores manage products, campaigns, customers, loyalty, cashiers, POS terminals, warehouse data and transaction history from a local workstation.

Use OFFICE when your store needs local coordination, offline resilience, LAN-based POS communication, or backup before syncing to the cloud.

Namibia Market

Built for the way businesses in Namibia actually operate

Namibia's economy is driven by mining, tourism and agriculture — but it is the rapidly growing retail and hospitality sectors in Windhoek, Swakopmund, Lüderitz and Oshakati that create the strongest demand for practical POS automation. Tourism lodges, restaurants and pharmacies increasingly need tools that go beyond a simple cash register.

Many operators still track stock on paper, lack visibility into daily sales from their phone, and manage kitchen orders by shouting. SaleFlex targets operators who want to connect kitchen display, accurate stock control, and an owner dashboard — at a price that makes sense for the Namibian market.

Built for NAD/ZAR Dual Currency

The Namibian Dollar is pegged 1:1 to the South African Rand, and both currencies are legal tender in Namibia. Many businesses — especially near the South African border and in tourist-heavy areas — price, receive and report in both NAD and ZAR simultaneously. SaleFlex's open architecture allows implementation partners to configure dual-currency pricing, display and receipt printing to match real business usage.

Currency configuration is handled at the implementation level — contact us or a local partner to discuss your setup.

Mobile Payment Ready Architecture

Namibia's mobile money ecosystem includes MobiPay (Bank Windhoek), EasyWallet (FNB Namibia) and Blue Wallet (Standard Bank Namibia). Card payments via Visa and Mastercard are widely used in urban areas. SaleFlex's modular architecture is built to welcome payment integrations through local implementation partners, rather than locking you into a single closed payment stack.

Native MobiPay and EasyWallet reconciliation in SaleFlex is on the Namibia roadmap — see adaptation status below.

Open for NamRA VAT Compliance

The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) applies a 15% VAT rate and is progressively expanding digital fiscal requirements. SaleFlex can have integration layers built with authorised local partners to ensure receipts, Z-reports and submissions align with VAT accounting requirements. The architecture supports tax-line itemisation, VAT-inclusive pricing display and audit-ready reporting structures.

NamRA-compliant fiscal module is on the roadmap — check adaptation status below.

Designed for Tourism and Hospitality

Namibia's world-class tourism — Etosha National Park, Sossusvlei, Fish River Canyon, Skeleton Coast — supports a strong lodge, guesthouse and safari camp sector. These operators need coordinated food and beverage orders, bar POS, kitchen display, stock control and owner dashboards that work even when connectivity is limited in remote locations. SaleFlex combines all of this in one membership.

Who benefits first in Namibia

SaleFlex is a strong fit for businesses that need daily operational tools — not just invoicing — at an affordable price point.

  • Restaurants, cafes and takeaway outlets in Windhoek and Swakopmund
  • Safari lodges, guesthouses and boutique hotels
  • Pharmacies and regulated health businesses
  • Supermarkets, bottle stores and convenience retailers
  • Multi-branch retail operators
  • Businesses moving away from paper-based stock tracking
Adaptation Status

SaleFlex adaptation for Namibia is in progress

SaleFlex's core system works for Namibian businesses today. However, full market localisation — including MobiPay and EasyWallet payment reconciliation, NamRA fiscal compliance, and NAD/ZAR dual-currency accounting workflows — is not yet complete as built-in product features. These adaptations require specific development work and regulatory alignment.

MobiPay and Mobile Wallet Reconciliation

Namibia's mobile payment landscape — MobiPay, EasyWallet, Blue Wallet and card networks — requires per-transaction reconciliation between bank app confirmations and POS records. Automated end-of-day reconciliation between wallet receipts and POS transaction groups requires bank-level SLA agreements with each provider.

Community builds can prototype the flow. Production deployment requires partner SLA with a licensed Namibian payment processor.

NamRA VAT and Fiscal Compliance

NamRA's VAT requirements include structured tax invoices, VAT registration thresholds and Z-report submission formats. Mapping NamRA-approved invoice formats, routing submissions and applying correct VAT line treatment is not shipped as a standard global module — it requires co-design with an authorised local partner and your accounting team.

Expect a project plan — not just a toggle — when starting a NamRA-compliant deployment.

NAD/ZAR Dual-Currency Accounting

Transacting in both NAD and ZAR simultaneously requires configurable exchange rate handling, split-currency receipts and reconciliation reports that represent dual-currency transactions accurately. These accounting workflows require a Namibia-specific configuration layer that is currently being developed.

Pilot stores can influence the priority and design of NAD/ZAR accounting features.

Offline Resilience for Remote Locations

Many lodges, farms and tourism operators in Namibia are located in areas with unreliable or satellite-based internet. SaleFlex.OFFICE already provides local store coordination when internet is unavailable — but tuning sync behaviour, conflict resolution and offline duration for Namibia's remote environment requires field testing with local partners.

SaleFlex's hybrid architecture handles the basics today; extended offline resilience is being refined.

What you can do right now

While Namibia-specific adaptation work continues, you have three practical options to start using SaleFlex today or to help accelerate the work for Namibia.

Use the Global version

SaleFlex's global Cloud system is open. You can use it for general POS operations, kitchen display, stock counting and owner reports — without Namibia-specific compliance features. A solid starting point for businesses that want to digitise operations while local adaptation work completes.

Adapt PyPOS for Namibia yourself

SaleFlex.PyPOS is open-source. If you have technical capability or work with a local implementation partner, you can fork the codebase and add MobiPay, NamRA and Namibia-specific compliance modules for your own deployment.
